This program is available for Upper-Intermediate and Advanced levels. The minimum recommended is 12 weeks.
Studying at an English speaking university or working in an English speaking environment will require you to have high level communication skills, particularly in reading and writing. Vocabulary tends to be very advanced, and you are required to analyze information critically. Village English Academic will build these skills and prepare you to succeed.
In this program, you will learn how to listen for lectures and take effective notes, prepare presentations in English, expand your vocabulary, learn to write successful academic essays and express yourself more accurately in your classes.

All fees are payable in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without prior notice. Fees may be paid in US$ at prevailing exchange rates.
Homestay fees include a private bedroom & three meals a day. Accommodations are available from the Saturday or Sunday immediately preceding the course start day and students are asked to leave their Homestay on the Saturday or Sunday following their course end date. Students requiring other arrangements should contact the school at least 4 weeks in advance.
Airport any last-minute changes in flight plans should be sent to Village English immediately. If these plans are not received, Village English is not responsible for airport reception and the reception fee will be forfeited. The cost of Airport reception represents only the cost of pick-up from the airport to homestay and not the return trip unless is requested. The student must provide Village English with copy of the flight tickets at least 2 weeks prior the arrival for arrangements. Failure to do so, the student will be responsible for arranging their own transportation with a Taxi.
Insurance coverage is compulsory. A student must either take out an insurance policy before he/she leaves for Canada or join the Village English Group Insurance Plan.
Program upgrades are available once the course has begun. Please consult our Registration after you begin classes if you would like to upgrade.
Requests for fewer hours will be treated as cancelations.
